In Part 1 of their two-episode conversation, Mike Hosfeld ’82 and Kristin Eicholtz shared how they found careers in empowering students. Mike is a Job Works Coordinator and Job Coach at the Mercy School for Special Learning, the Lehigh Valley's only private, nonresidential school for children and young adults with disabilities. Kristin Eicholtz is the Dean of the Center for Career Success at Moravian. Together, the two have fostered a wonderful relationship to expand opportunities for students at both Mercy and Moravian. On Season 11 of Houndcast, Carol Bassie and Owen Levan-Uhler ’26 interview civically engaged Moravian alumni. After studying Political Science and Gender and Sexuality, as well as being involved in campus organizations like SPECTRUM, Gabby became civically engaged with Queer & Trans Lehigh Valley Mutual Aid Network (QTLV). That community involvement led her to her positions as both the Assistant Director for Intercultural Development and Coordinator of Gender and Sexuality Programs at Lafayette College.On Season 11 of Houndcast, Carol Bassie and Owen Levan-Uhler interview civically engaged Moravian alumni.
